Joi Coleman is a Philadelphia native and Atlanta-based, Grammy-nominated songwriter and former Atlantic Records A&R.

She spent nine years at Atlantic Records across A&R and studio operations — A&R’ing all three of Big Scarr’s studio albums and developing artists across the label’s roster. Along the way she built her own platform in radio, hosting The Jawn Joi on Dash Radio and producing Streetz Is Watchin’ on Shade 45. Her songwriting earned a Grammy nomination on Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III.

Nine years inside the system taught her one thing about who wins and who loses in this business: work ethic is the variable — everything else is noise.

Today she builds companies at the intersection of music, hospitality & technology — founder of Torch ATL and Torch Music Group, giving artists and creatives the infrastructure to be the engine of their own careers.
